A can complete a work in 4 days. B can do it in 20 days. With the help of C, they completed the work in 2 days. C alone can do it in ______________ days.

A + B का 1 दिन का काम = 1/4 + 1/20 = 6/20 = 3/10। A + B + C का 1 दिन का काम = 1/2। अतः C का 1 दिन का काम = 1/2 − 3/10 = 2/10 = 1/5, यानी C अकेला 5 दिन लेगा। अतः उत्तर 5 है।
A + B together do 1/4 + 1/20 = 6/20 = 3/10 of the work per day. A + B + C together do 1/2 per day. So C does 1/2 − 3/10 = 2/10 = 1/5 per day and alone takes 5 days. So the answer is 5.
