तेंदुलकर पद्धति (योजना आयोग के अनुमान) के अनुसार 2011-12 में गरीबी ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में 25.7%, शहरी क्षेत्रों में 13.7% और पूरे भारत में 21.9% थी।
As per the Tendulkar methodology (Planning Commission estimates), poverty in 2011-12 was 25.7% in rural areas, 13.7% in urban areas and 21.9% for India as a whole.
